Time making a choice is a thief stealing time from thoughts that can bring you closer to solving your core objective challenges. Never let someone think they can take your self esteem by demeaning you. When one is weak, they over compensate. When one feels threatened, they lash-out, usually through verbal and mental abuse. There are people in business who know little or nothing about their profession skating on the backbone of team performance when not being accountable for validating their own business acumen. I found myself working for such a Department Head who was insanely arrogant, incompetent and was a complete egomaniac – that is his legacy. A self made fabrication from strings of quotes created by globally known visionary leaders in an effort to form an image of his own hollow, regurgitated existence. Without creativity, originality or capability around, it was time for me to move on. “My definition of vindication is leaving a Joker at the table with so many hands to play, the clown only knows who played him; not the game, not the meaning of the cards, not even the number of cards in a deck … before his deal is cashed out.”
